What it is

Currently Selling is a hand-verified deals site focused on the gear small online sellers (Etsy/Vinted/eBay) actually use day-to-day — label printers, packaging, lighting, postage scales, and software. Each deal is dated, has price history, and links out through a tracked redirector.

The niche is intentional. Generic deal aggregation is a saturated category dominated by Amazon-style link farms and SEO spam. Tools-for-sellers shipping under a couple of pallets a month is a specific operator audience with specific recurring purchases — the kind of niche where hand-verification, dated deals, and price history are read as quality signals rather than friction.

What's built

• Astro pre-rendered frontend with category-driven discovery — categories framed for online-seller workflows (printers, packaging, lighting, scales, software)
• /go/<slug> Node/Express redirector — outbound links route through tracking, no raw affiliate URLs in HTML
• Postgres schema for merchants, deals, price snapshots, clicks, and subscribers
• Native price history — every price change inserts a snapshot row; "last verified" timestamps surface on every card
• GDPR consent banner gating GA4 and Skimlinks; analytics never fire pre-consent
• Deploy + migration scripts, PM2 config, nginx integration documented

What's not built

The affiliate infrastructure is in place — tracked redirector, click logging, native price history, GDPR-gated analytics, Skimlinks wired. What's missing is curated inventory. Deals are seeded as drafts; the table is wired and ready to track, but the active deal grid is intentionally empty until verified deals from real partnerships replace the placeholders.

The right buyer is someone who can either close direct seller-tools brand partnerships or run Skimlinks/seller-tools affiliate networks at volume — the technical pipe is ready to carry traffic the day the inventory lands.
